A Customer’s Solar Power System with 28.66kWh Battery Storage

The system’s storage consists of two Menred LFP.1433.F battery modules. Each unit has an energy capacity of 14.33kWh, providing a total of 28.66kWh for this installation. These batteries use Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) chemistry and operate at a nominal 51.2Vdc. The maximum charge and discharge current is 140 Amps, and the cycle life is rated at over 6000 times. This battery model is scalable, allowing for a maximum of 16 units to be connected in parallel to reach a total capacity of 229.28kWh.

An SRNE inverter is integrated into the setup. Its function is to convert the stored DC electricity from the batteries into AC electricity for use in the home. The combination of these Menred batteries and the SRNE inverter creates the functional solar power system.
