18kWh Solar Home Power Battery System Setup: LFP.6144.G3 with Deye Inverter

A residential solar installation in Europe uses one Menred ESS LFP.6144.G3 battery system, configured with three 6.144kWh modules for a total usable capacity of 18.43kWh. The battery group is connected to a Dyeye hybrid inverter through Menred’s centralized control box designed for G3 configurations.

 

The control box consolidates the output of the three modules, providing a single high-current interface (up to 300A) to the inverter. It also manages cell balancing, communication, and safety functions. Users can monitor system status via an optional LED display or touchscreen, and access real-time data remotely through a Wi-Fi-enabled mobile app.

 

The LFP.6144.G3 uses LiFePO₄ cells rated for over 6,000 cycles at 0.5C and 25°C with 80% depth of discharge. The system supports standard hybrid inverters up to 15kW and is covered by a 5-year warranty, extendable to 10 years.

 

This setup represents a typical 18kwh solar home power battery application, where modularity, centralized wiring, and remote monitoring meet the requirements of daily household energy use.
